Activity Overview
"Play is the highest form of research" - This Albert Einstein can be held up as one of the guiding principals of the Santa Fe Children's Museum. The Museum's organizers know that every child's natural impulse is to approach the world with a sense of joy and wonder and to seek to discover all that is around them. So they aim to encourage these habits with interactive displays, exhibits, games and activities that will not only entertain the child but will also educate them and help them in their development.
Things to Do
- Keep an eye out for regularly recurring events that take place at the Museum such as the weekly Wee Wednesday where kids enjoy stories, songs and games in both English and Spanish.
- Every Friday a local artist comes along and leads a class on how to use various artistic mediums such as acrylics, pastel and watercolor.
- On the first Thursday of every month firefighters arrive to read stories and show kids around their truck!
