Activity Overview
The Ontario Science Centre is a science museum which is approximately 2 hours away from Buffalo, New York in Toronto, Canada. It is one of the most popular attractions in Toronto and features numerous hands-on exhibits related to science in its 10 exhibit halls, as well as an IMAX Dome theatre, a planetarium, and a special educational play area for young children. Whether you spend a few hours or an entire day there, your child is sure to have a blast.
Things to Do
- Explore The Centre's Backyard, an outdoor exhibit along the edge of the beautiful Don River Valley.
- Grab a seat for one of their three planetarium shows, where you can learn all about the night sky, the universe, and fascinating constellations.
- Visit the Science Arcade, an exhibit that features a shadow tunnel, a bike generator, and numerous displays that make physics fun for children.
- Take your little one to KidSpark, a special exhibit for children under the age of 8 where they can blow giant bubbles, build their own roller coaster, and do other educational activities!

- If you plan to visit often, consider becoming a member in order to get free admission to the science centre and half-price admission to IMAX films.
- Have your child's next birthday party at the museum - party packages for young children include playtime in the Imagination Playground, while older children can have parties with themes like space, magic, chemistry, and engineering.
